MPE and RECAL Forge Alliance to Boost Aluminium Recycling in Poland
MPE is proud to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Polish RECAL Foundation. This strategic partnership signifies a shared commitment to improve aluminium recycling rates in Poland and beyond.
The tireless efforts of the RECAL Foundation to raise awareness and implement effective campaigns have driven aluminium beverage can recovery rates in Poland from 2% in 1995 to 79% in 2021.
'MPE actively positions and supports the circular image of metal packaging as one of the most sustainable and infinitely recyclable packaging materials through joint initiatives. The cooperation with the RECAL Foundation is part of MPE's development and outreach to support national activities,' said MPE CEO Krassimira Kazashka.
'The cooperation between the RECAL Foundation and MPE covers issues related to aluminium packaging, its recycling and educational campaigns. We are also planning activities in the field of national and European legislative initiatives due to their impact on waste management,' said Jacek Wodzisławski, President of the Management Board of the RECAL Foundation.
With this alliance, MPE and RECAL demonstrate the positive impact achievable through collective action towards a more sustainable future.
